With over 12 years experience in the floral event industry, a BA in Fine Arts and Design and 4 years experience working as a designer for a prestigious event company in London, she brings that original creative edge to Boo Shi that is floral couture!
Keeping up with the times Boo Shi now also offers creative workshops for the (Do it Yourself) ‘DIY Bride’. An exciting service where our brides can create their own floral table centre piece and reception dressing, all designed and packaged into a Boo Shi workshop where we show you how and hire you all that you need to create high quality, cost effective and unforgettable floral theming.

As a young girl I worked for Leilani Florist in Seven Hills Sydney. This is where I learnt the ‘traditions of floristry’… sweeping, cleaning, serving, hours of wiring for bridal bouquets and anything old school.
This led me to a more senior roll working for David Jones Florist City Sydney, and The Flowerman Double Bay. Then moving to London UK in 2001 working for Paula Pryke Flowers London and then to Veevers Carter London which is where I truly discovered the world of events.
As a baby my parents use to sing to me ‘Bright Eyes’ as I was bright-eyed…and as the saying goes ‘bright-eyed and bushy-tailed!’
So as I got older bright-eyed and bushy-tailed became Booshi-tail, then famously Boo Shi!!
I am inspired mostly by all forms of art, architecture, nature, interior design, fashion and music.
I am also inspired by ambitious people!
That would have to be Art Nouveau. And anything MOD.
Where do I start…from artists such as M.C.Escher, Andy Goldsworthy, Edward Westin, Man Ray and Salvador Dali to interior designers such as the beyond amazing Kelly Wearstler and Dorothy Draper, floral designers Preston Bailey, Daniel Ost, Jeff Leatham and Christian Tortu, Viviane Westwood for her unique punk and Bansky for his daring Street Art!
Switzerland- St Moritz is unforgettable, and the streets of Zurich at Christmas, Ia Santorini Greece, and I just love Amsterdam.

Working for Veevers Carter in London I managed an event in Provence France for a VIP client where we stayed in one of Christian Dior’s late chateaus for a week …it was absolutely amazing. The plants and flowers I ordered from Holland and arrived in a semi trailer for us to unload the first day. Our workroom was the back room of the chateau, the arrangements we created in various venues and hotels in Provence were unforgettable. It was to date, the most unique, stressful, and rewarding experience in my 12 years in this industry.
Another would be creating Boo Shi’s Madame Butterfly installation for the first time at Doltone House Winter Party. Designing and creating her took hours…and hours, (thanks also to Berni & Paul) but on the night she brought tears to our eyes and was the talk of the evening.
